This article is part of Only A Bag's Quick Answer series. No fluff, no AI, just information.

Sun touching the edge of a terrance with the Amalfi Coast spread out beyond it.

Unfortunately, no. Unlike Cinque Terre, famous for its picturesque train through the tunnels, no town or area along the Amalfi Coast is serviced by a train, so there is no train station on the Amalfi Coast.

You can arrive to Sorrento via train (from Rome, Naples, or elsewhere in Italy) and take either a ferry or bus to Positano, the "first" town of the Amalfi Coast, coming from the west.

If you are coming from Rome, you can check out our guide here on getting to the Amalfi Coast from Rome!

Likewise, you can arrive to Salerno via high-speed or regional train and take the same bus or ferry to any town along the Amalfi Coast.

For information on how to get from Salerno to the Amalfi Coast, you can check out our guide here!
